The bar and lounge at the Rose in Bloom is light, airy and large. There is plenty of seating at the bar itself, with trained and friendly bar-staff offering you wonderful hospitality and a prompt service. If you want to chill out and relax away from the bar we have more comfortable sofas & armchairs around the fire place.
We offer a range of beers from around the world, as well as local ales, a varied wine selection served by the glass or bottle together with champagnes and numerous spirits.
The Rose in Bloom is a great place to meet friends or family over a drink or to get refreshed after a cycle-ride or long walk across our local beaches and famous coastline.
Our garden offers the finest views over the Swale estuary, across to the Isle of Sheppey and the outermost reaches of the Thames estuary. Look out to where oyster beds have existed for thousands of years and farmed since the Romans. You can also catch views of the famous war-time Maunsell Forts as well as see the yachts and boats that are sailing in and out of our local harbour and the numerous creeks nearby.
In the summer, yachts, water skiers and amateur fishermen will all be in view as you sit and relax with a cool beer or chilled glass of wine.
